If you ask Logan: Heaven and I's journey started in 2016, 9 years ago, in a history class at Copley High School. Class had started 10 minutes earlier and I was getting comfortable in my seat, when I see a girl come into class late saying she got lost. She sits a few seats in front of me and starts getting situated. As she's doing so, she turned around and we locked eyes for few seconds. She gave me a irritated look and then turned around. I thought to myself, "This school is not that big, how do you get lost?" I didn't know it then, but those few seconds were the start of a long and beautiful journey with the love of my life and future wife. I remember our first date like it was yesterday. I drove us to Steak n' Shake in my new car and ate the food in the car while we talked, laughed, and enjoyed each other's company. The one thing about our relationship that I like is our conflict resolution skills and ability to work as a team. I am so excited to be part of this journey and to soon be married to the love of my life!
If you ask Heaven: Logan and I knew of each other before we actually met. But our real story started in our sophomore year at Copley High School in 2016. We were just 15 when I walked in about ten minutes late. And there he was sitting right across from me, staring me down like I’d just committed a crime. He had such a serious staring problem that I remember thinking, “What is this nerd looking at?” But somehow, he caught my attention. I started asking a classmate about him, and before I knew it, we were talking more and more. especially after a band performance at Severance Hall and a Disney band trip. Our first date was at Steak ’n Shake in 2017. Simple, awkward, and sweet. One of my favorite things about our relationship is that we’ve always been friends first. That friendship is what keeps us laughing, grounded, and constantly growing together. As we grow, our relationship grows, and throughout all of these years, I feel fortunate enough to be able to witness our growth from being kids to now young adults building a future. I'm excited to see what the future holds for my future husband and I.
